I’ve listened to John Prine almost daily since I first heard him in the very early 70’s, probably when his first album came out❤😊

Prine was my favorite artist and at one point I kn ew and could play every song on his first four albums. His b est years were frin 1970 to 1980 . After that, his songs weren't as deep and less god like if you will. It's a shame he felt like he had to keep performing after all his health issues. Here, for instance, he sounds like a drunken sailor. Happily, tho, I have the memory of those early Massey Hall performances, when it was easy to believe that yes indeed, here was the next Bob Dylan. My brother had brain cancer and insisted on teaching till the end. I believe that hurts the legacy when your physics teacher craps in his pants during class and doesn't even know it. That was his last day teaching for I was called in to carry him away. Even though he was retired, he ke[t insisting till the end that he was going to class That's brain cancer for ya

Magnificent!

I remember taking my bike on the Caltrain from the South Bay to specifically go see this show back in 2010. It was fantastic and as everyone else says, RIP Adam. He was an extremely nice and talented guy.

Well, that was a very powerful performance of "What's Going On". That's why we pay these guys the big bucks. I'm almost glad I wasn't there, because my defective brain would have probably been completely destroyed by the minutiae like seeing Boz Scaggs without a Zoot Suit. I never met him but to me he was always synonymous with the looking like a Million Bucks (literally). Never heard the Chuck Prophet tune either, the hoboroadie is seriously lacking in culture. Good stuff, these guys have really been practicing.

I've admired her since she was a teenager and I'm always astounded at the clarity of her voice.
